Holy Covenant provides Bible study experiences that are biblically sound, personally relevant and intensely practical. We use the Seasons of the Spirit materials for children through adults as part of our integrated teaching.
These materials provide God's people with lectionary-based resources that empower all ages to be transformed in Christ as we:
-
explore meaning and mystery in the Bible;
-
celebrate in worship, sacraments, education, and service;
-
engage in ministries of love, justice, and witness;
-
and live in inclusive communities of faith, shaped and led by the Holy Spirit.
Separate classes are provided for our Preschoolers, Early Elementary, Older Elementary, Youth and Adults. All classes begin at 9:45 a.m.
In addition to our Seasons of the Spirit adult class, we also offer a topical Adult Sunday School class which explores current books and literature as a way of examining our faith. For more details, see below.
We invite you to find a class that fits your search and join us on the journey!

In addition to our Seasons of the Spirit adult class, we also offer a topical Adult Sunday School class which explores current books and literature as a way of examining our faith. Starting February 24, we will be studying Welcome to the Wisdom of the World: And Its Meaning for You by Joan Chittister. The following description of the book is from Publishers Weekly.
Although each person is unique and lives in a different time and culture from those of his or her predecessors and successors, Chittister insists that all humans have something in common. Drawing on the stories and heritages of Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, she explores this commonality with great insight and compassion. She discusses specific issues through the prism of particular religious traditions. She looks at aging and letting go of the past with Hindu wisdom; at doing the right thing and the meaning of success with Buddhist enlightenment; at idealism and feeling stuck with Jewish communitarianism; at getting away from it all and the purpose of life with Christian love; and at the existence of God and happiness with Islamic submission. "Life," she says, "is simply the responsibility of each of us to make our own contribution to the on-going co-creation of the world." Exemplary inspiration from one of the foremost contemporary writers on spirituality.

On a periodic basis we offer opportunities for joining small covenant groups which meet faithfully for the sake of spiritual growth. A variety of resources have been used for these groups. We have often used the Companions in Christ materials developed by The Upper Room.
